These terms govern aircond servicing, chemical wash, installation, repair, gas top-up, cassette servicing, and basic electrical maintenance work carried out by AMg Aircond Servicing & House Solution ("we", "us", "AMg Aircond") for customers in Petaling Jaya and surrounding Klang Valley areas.
1. Quotation and acceptance
All quotes are issued in writing (typically via WhatsApp) based on the unit type, HP rating, condition, and accessibility you describe. You accept the quote by confirming the booking in writing or by allowing work to begin on the agreed date. If on-site inspection reveals materially different conditions, we will revise the quote and seek your re-confirmation before continuing.
2. Scope of work
We perform aircond servicing, chemical wash and overhaul, supply and installation, repair and parts replacement, refrigerant gas top-up, cassette servicing, and basic AC-related electrical maintenance. Major electrical work outside the AC circuit (DB board rebuilds, full house rewiring) is outside our scope and will be referred to a fully Suruhanjaya-Tenaga-licensed electrician.
3. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work, after you confirm the result meets your expectations. We accept cash, online bank transfer (Maybank, CIMB), DuitNow QR, and TouchNGo eWallet. Invoices are issued on request.
4. Workmanship warranty
- Standard servicing and chemical wash: 30-day workmanship warranty
- Replacement parts we install: 6-month parts warranty (excluding consumables)
- New installations: 1-year workmanship warranty on top of manufacturer's unit warranty
Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, power surges, water ingress unrelated to our work, modifications by others, or fair wear and tear.
5. Customer responsibilities
- Provide reasonable access to the unit, parking for our vehicle, and a power supply for tools
- Notify us of any access restrictions, condo paperwork requirements, or noise-hour rules in advance
- Inform us of any prior work, modifications, or known faults relevant to the unit
- Be present at the start and end of major work for inspection and walkthrough
6. Cancellation
You may cancel a booking by WhatsApp at any time before the agreed start time at no charge. Same-day cancellations after our team has left base may incur a call-out fee of RM50 to cover travel and lost slot.
7. Liability
We carry out work to professional industry standards but cannot accept liability for pre-existing damage, hidden conditions inside the unit that we could not reasonably detect during inspection, or consequential losses (such as spoiled goods due to AC downtime). Our maximum liability for any single job is limited to the invoice amount of that job.
8. Photos and reviews
We may take before-and-after photos of work for our own records and for use in marketing (on our website or social channels). Identifiable interior shots will not be used without your permission. We appreciate Google reviews — they are voluntary and never required.
9. Personal data
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
